MELODIC NOISE REVIEW OF GARBAGE PEOPLE
Acoustic rock band The Tire Fires give a stripped down organic performance on their latest single “Garbage People.” The lyrics are intensely conversational to the point of comedic relief. Nonetheless the song is poignant and direct. “All of you, you’re garbage people,” the singer says over an acoustic guitar and upright bass instrumental.

PHILIP INTERVIEWED ON MANIFEST BRUTALITY
Philip was interviewed by Andrew Dahl of Manifest Brutality shortly before the release of our debut album, Sexless and Alone. He talks about where his interest in music comes from, the history of forming The Tire Fires, and the epic journey of recording an album, and The Local Music Scene, which is an improv show he produces which uses the lyrics of songs performed by local musicians as inspiration for improvised scenes.
